We believe in work/life balance

One of our founding principles is a commitment to effectively deliver our strong client focus while respecting our consultants’ personal lives. As consultants, the nature of our work is challenging and demanding; helping our clients spot and seize new growth opportunities is difficult. However, we are individual- and family-oriented. We strive to foster an environment that enables everyone to balance their work commitments and personal responsibilities. Ultimately, we are committed to creating an environment that values productivity over face time.

We are fun

There are a variety of ways people tend to kickback in the office; one is to horse around — or compete fiercely — on the Nintendo Wii in our brainstorming room or the Nerf basketball hoop in the hall.

We also make it a point to enjoy each other’s company outside of the office in formal and informal contexts. Innosight-hosted events this past year included:

  • Sailing on a tall ship in Boston Harbor, followed by food and drinks at the Barking Crab on the waterfront
  • “In the Moment” communication and negotiation skills teambuilding event hosted by an improv comedian at Tapeo on Newbury Street
  • Bowling at Boston Bowl for our summer outing (when an excursion to Thomson Island in Boston Harbor was rained out)
  • Volunteering with the Charles River Conservancy to clean up the waterfront in Cambridge
  • Architectural tour of Genzyme’s headquarters in Kendall Square — an internationally recognized green building — followed by food and drinks at a nearby restaurant
  • Holiday party at Bin 26 Enoteca
  • In-office family holiday party featuring lots and lots of little kids (including the newest members of the Innosight family)
  • And we are always open to new ideas from employees!

Professional Development

An advantage of a small firm is your ability to create your own path. You will receive the majority of your training “on the job.” We look for candidates who thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.

We provide all new employees with the support to succeed, but do expect you to take initiative when it comes to getting up to speed on the core innovation concepts used during our engagements. Innosight strives to establish an environment where people learn from each other.

At Innosight, you will move at your own pace. Being a small firm, you will get a lot of visibility, attention, and responsibility. You will be in a position to make a real difference in how your case develops and how the firm progresses. Everyone at Innosight plays an important role in shaping the firm.
